This past Saturday i was blessed to dj at Red Cedar Ransom on MSU's campus. This is a yearly B-Boy/B-Girl Event put on by MSU Breakdance Club, a tradition that started last year. This years event was massive. Innovative B-Boys, Othello rocked the mic, DJ Franco De Leon killed it, i was mad impressed. I got to play a few records as well. Thanks to everyone that came out to support probably my favorite element of hip-hop culture outside of djing. Shout out to DJ Adi-8 and the M.I.A. crew, all the MSU B-Boys and B-Girls, and to Self-Xplanatory for rockin out and taking home $1000.
That lil bboy killed it when he started singing the breakdown on that nina simone track. That event was awesome.
